Itinerary Highlights

Day 1 – Arrival in Male (Velana International Airport)
Welcome onboard Maldives Legend Y, check-in, briefing and check dive.

Day 2 – Crossing to Vaavu Atoll

Cruise from Male to Vaavu Atoll with dives at Hulhumale Neru, Kuda Giri and Alimatha House Reef. Highlights include moray eels, stingrays, nurse sharks and one of the Maldives’ most famous night dives.

Day 3 – Crossing to South Ari Atoll

Cruise to South Ari Atoll with dives at Miyaru Kandu, Vilamendhoo Thila and Five Rocks. Highlights include shark encounters, vibrant coral formations and dramatic underwater pinnacles.

Day 4 – Search for the Whale Shark

Dive Kuda Rah Thila and Maamigili Beyru before heading out in search of whale sharks, one of the highlights of the Best of Maldives route.

Day 5 – South Ari Atoll and BBQ Night

Dive Rangali Madivaru, Rai Dhigga and Panettone, renowned for manta ray encounters and rich marine life. End the day with a beach BBQ under the stars.

Day 6 – North Ari Atoll to Male Atoll

Dive Moofushi Manta Point, Fish Head and Maaya Thila, some of the Maldives’ most renowned dive sites. The day concludes with a night dive before the overnight cruise back towards Male.

Day 7 – Dive at Hulhumale’ Neru

Dive Hulhumale Neru before enjoying a Fish Tank snorkelling trip or Male City Tour. Optional spa treatments are available before your final evening onboard.

Day 8 – Departure
Breakfast, checkout and airport transfer.
