By submitting an entry into the “ADEX T-Shirt Design Contest”, and thereby entering to have the design be selected, and awarding of ADEX/Asian Geographic related prizes, contestants acknowledge that they have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions.
After November, 1 2016 (the “Start Date”), the completed entry should be submitted to Asian Geographic Magazine Pte Ltd (the “Organisers”). Responsibility cannot be accepted for any delay in the receipt of entries. Entries through agents or third parties will be invalid.
Participants may only enter the Contest by uploading an image to the appropriate submission page on UW360 website. Information you provide is subject to, Organiser’s Privacy Policy. By participating in the Contest, winners consent to the release of their personally identifiable information as part of the winner’s list. All entries become the property of the Organiser, and will not be acknowledged.
Organiser is not responsible for undeliverable, late, illegible, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or for mechanical errors, typographical errors, and computer malfunctions, display viewing problems, faulty transmissions or network errors during the submission of your entry or the hosting of the Contest. Entries that are incomplete, defective, altered, forged or irregular in any way, or are otherwise not in full compliance with these Official Rules are void.
Asian Geographic Pte Ltd requires a working InDesign file to be sent/emailed to Asian Geographic for final design modifications. Winner may put their signature design on the shirt, which should include a front and back design. The design is set to print on a t-shirt approximately 12”x 14” size, and the colours should be able to be transferred for screen-printing. The words ADEX and 2017 Climate Change are requirements for the shirt. They may use placeholders for the Organiser’s logo, however, Asian Geographic Pte Ltd has the right to modify their design, to make sure that the logo is being used properly.
The Competition is open to all countries residents aged 18 or over as at the Start Date until February 01, 2017 (the “Closing Date”). Distributors, dealers and employees of the Organiser’s, any member of their households or other company involved directly with the administration of this Competition are not eligible to enter.
By entering the Competition the entrant hereby warrants that any information provided is true and is owned by the entrant. Each entrant further represents and warrants that he or she is 18 years of age or older, and acknowledges that his or her entry is void if the entrant is in a state or other jurisdiction where the Competition is prohibited by law.
Prizes and the value of the prize are subject to change without notice by the Organiser and the Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, offer an alternative prize. The Prize cannot be exchanged for other goods or redeemed for cash value.
7. Entries
Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these competition rules and permission for use of submitted entries, emails, images and names (or pseudonyms if requested) in other media. Entrants hereby assign to the Organiser all worldwide copyright and like rights in their entries and waive all moral rights.
Entrants accept that, if they win, the Organiser will have the right, without additional payment or permission, to use their name, age, town of residence and likeness for the purposes of announcing the winner of this competition and for related promotional purposes.
The winner will be announced on the Oragniser’s Facebook page, ADEX Website and during ADEX 2017 and the winners will be notified personally as soon as practicable either before or after this date. The Promoter bears no responsibility for inaccurate contact information, which may affect delivery of the prize. Winner’s names (or pseudonyms if requested) and country of residence may be published on the website.
The decision of the organiser in choosing the top and final entries of the competition is final. Petitions and appeals will not be entertained.
Asian Geographic Pte Ltd reserves the right to not choose a winner should all entries not meet the standard and criteria of the competition
The Organiser is not liable for any loss or damage associated or incurred with any prize awarded. Cost of delivery of the prize will be subjected to be paid by the price recipient.
