9–11 April 2027 | Suntec Singapore

TEKAsia 2027 will return to Suntec Singapore from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 April 2027, bringing together the international diving community for three days of presentations, discussions and opportunities to share knowledge and experience. Held alongside the annual Asia Dive Expo (ADEX), now entering its 33rd year, the conference continues to provide an important meeting place for those involved in technical, scientific, commercial and exploratory diving, as well as recreational divers interested in learning more about the wider world of underwater exploration.

Over the years, technical diving has developed considerably, with improvements in equipment, training, procedures and our understanding of diving physiology allowing divers to explore environments that were once considered beyond reach. From deep shipwrecks and extensive underwater cave systems to scientific research and marine archaeology, modern diving continues to develop in many different directions. TEKAsia provides an opportunity to examine these developments, hear about current projects and discuss both the achievements and challenges facing divers around the world.

The 2027 conference will cover a broad range of subjects, including wreck and cave diving, rebreather technology, equipment development and configuration, decompression procedures, hyperbaric medicine, diving safety, underwater archaeology, commercial and saturation diving, marine research and the latest developments in diver training. The programme aims to provide a balance between practical diving experience, scientific understanding and emerging technology, with presentations that will appeal to divers from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels.

While technical diving remains a central focus, TEKAsia is not exclusively for technical divers. One of the conference’s objectives is to encourage a greater understanding of the different disciplines within diving and provide recreational divers with an opportunity to learn more about the equipment, techniques and training used in advanced underwater exploration. The exchange of information between divers with different backgrounds and experience is an important part of the event, particularly as the industry continues to evolve.

An equally important aspect of TEKAsia is the opportunity for members of the international diving community to meet and exchange ideas. The conference brings together people involved in exploration, research, education, equipment development and practical diving operations, many of whom rarely have the opportunity to meet in one location. Conversations outside the formal presentations can be just as valuable, often leading to new friendships, collaborative projects and a better understanding of the work being undertaken in different parts of the world.

As diving technology and scientific knowledge continue to advance, TEKAsia 2027 will provide an opportunity to consider where diving is heading and how these developments can contribute to safer, more informed and more capable divers. The conference also recognises the importance of learning from the experiences of previous generations while encouraging new ideas and approaches to underwater exploration.

TEKAsia 2027 welcomes everyone with an interest in diving, whether experienced technical divers, recreational divers, researchers, instructors, equipment specialists or those simply interested in the possibilities of exploring the underwater world.
